Back to the Future Game

Back to the Future Game History

The story of Back to the Future video games began early. Already in 1985 the potential of a BBTF game was recognized and two video games were released. Further it went on in 1986, 1989, 1990, 1991 and 1993, almost every time they tried to replay the movie series. Film scenes, where you can slip into the role of Marty McFly and re-enact it. The graphics were not as good as today. But it was enough to have fun and to imagine that it would be like in a movie. The fantasy did the rest.

Unfortunately, there was a long break between 1993 and 2010, in which no game developer wanted to make a try. The PC and console game from Telltale Games was a great idea and unfortunately there was never a continuation (we are still waiting for this too), but the Telltale Game was neither with lifelike characters / graphics, nor with the real movie story of the trilogy.

And it is exactly such a game that a whole fan community is hoping for and the > petition < is directed at such a game!

There are already several good GTA (Grand Theft Auto) mods of Back to the Future, which show that graphically it is quite possible to make a realistic game, which is similar to the movie and you could also replay it. Here are a few examples:
